Managing Templates

A template contains all of the information required to create a complete workflow application on a server. The list of the templates available on a server can be found in the Workflow Manager for SQL Server under the Templates tab.

To add a new template file to the template list

  1. Click Import from File.
  2. Browse to the location of the template file.
  3. Click OK.

To create a template file in a different location

  1. Select a template from the list.
  2. Click Export to File.
  3. Browse to the location where you want to save the file, and enter a file name.
  4. Click OK.

To remove a template from the server

  1. Select a template from the list.
  2. Click Delete.

To rename a template

  1. Select a template from the list.
  2. Click Properties.
  3. Enter a new title for the template.
  4. Click OK.
