Editing User Information

This content is no longer actively maintained. It is provided as is, for anyone who may still be using these technologies, with no warranties or claims of accuracy with regard to the most recent product version or service release.

If you choose to maintain the workflow application User Directory information manually, you can edit the information by using the Workflow Manager for SQL Server. To edit user information, you must have SQL Server administrator permissions on the server. Be aware that if you manually edit user information and then decide to use synchronization, all information you have entered will be overwritten with the information from the source directory.

**Note   **If you use Microsoft® Exchange 5.5 Server to synchronize your user information, you cannot edit your user directory manually. The only information you can change from the Edit User command is the Exchange mailbox for a user who has multiple Exchange mailboxes. Changing a user's Exchange mailbox will cause Exchange Server to synchronize with the new mailbox for the user.

To edit user information

  1. Start the Workflow Manager for SQL Server.
  2. From the User Information tab, select a user from the list, and click Properties. The User Properties form appears.
  3. Make the desired changes.
  4. Click OK to save your changes.
