Parameters

postDataKey: String

The key identifier for the control.

postCollection: NameValueCollection

The collection of all incoming named values.

Boolean

true if the state of the SelectionList changes as a result of the postback; otherwise, false.

Exceptions

Exception

the call to LoadPostData(String, NameValueCollection, Object, Boolean) on the object referenced by Adapter returns false.

Remarks

The LoadPostData method uses the LoadPostData method on the IControlAdapter object referenced by the Adapter property to load data into the control from the post data sent by the client browser. If there is no device-specific handling for loading the postback data on this control, then the IControlAdapter.LoadPostData method returns true.
