GC.KeepAlive(Object) Método

Definición

Hace referencia al objeto especificado, convirtiéndolo en un objeto no válido para la recolección de elementos no utilizados desde el principio de la rutina actual hasta el momento en que se llamó a este método.

El objeto al que se va a hacer referencia.

Ejemplos

En el ejemplo de código siguiente se crea un objeto al principio de su Main método y no se hace referencia al objeto de nuevo hasta el final, cuando se llama al KeepAlive método . El objeto persiste durante la duración de 30 segundos del Main método, a pesar de las llamadas a los Collect métodos y WaitForPendingFinalizers .

Comentarios

El propósito del KeepAlive método es garantizar la existencia de una referencia a un objeto que está en riesgo de ser reclamado prematuramente por el recolector de elementos no utilizados. Un escenario común en el que esto puede ocurrir es cuando no hay referencias al objeto en código administrado o datos, pero el objeto todavía está en uso en código no administrado, como las API de Windows, los archivos DLL no administrados o los métodos que usan COM.

Este método hace referencia al obj parámetro , lo que hace que ese objeto no sea válido para la recolección de elementos no utilizados desde el principio de la rutina hasta el punto, en orden de ejecución, donde se llama a este método. Codigo este método al final, no al principio, del intervalo de instrucciones donde obj debe estar disponible.

El KeepAlive método no realiza ninguna operación y no produce efectos secundarios que no extiendan la duración del objeto pasado como parámetro.
