MEPERSON:Creating a Mail-Enabled Person

MEPerson is a new sample application created using Microsoft® Visual Basic®. It demonstrates how to create a mail-enabled person with a target address of the type EDK. The MEPerson project is compiled and run using Visual Basic. See Building the Sample Gateway Components and Sample Applications for build details.

To run MEPERSON

  1. At the command prompt, navigate to the folder that contains the Person.exe executable file.
  2. Type Person.
  3. The Creation of mail enabled persons dialog box appears.
  4. Type the first and the last name in the appropriate fields, or use the default.
  5. Enter the corresponding address of the type EDK in the Target address field, or use the default.
  6. Click Create to create the entry. If the procedure is successful, the following message will appear: Mail enabled person was created successfully.
