What's New
Microsoft Windows Media Services is now more scalable, reliable, and customizable. The newest version of the Windows Media Services SDK incorporates the following changes.
- A new object model improves your ability to programmatically control, configure, and monitor a Windows Media server.
- More plug-in types have been added, and you can customize more server functionality by creating your own plug-ins.
- Server-side playlists give you more control over the content streamed by the server.
- Publishing point functionality has been expanded.
- Event access has been redesigned, and the number of available events has been increased.
