IXFeedFolder::TotalUnreadItemCount Method

Returns the total number of unread items.

Syntax

HRESULT TotalUnreadItemCount(
    UINT *puiTotalUnreadItemCount
);

Parameters

  • puiTotalUnreadItemCount
    [out] Pointer to an unsigned integer that receives the count of unread feed items.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.

Remarks

The value returned from IXFeedFolder::TotalUnreadItemCount is an aggregate of all the feeds in the current folder and its subfolders.

This property returns a cached value and does not require access to any feed files.
