WebBrowserBase.OnHandleCreated(EventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the HandleCreated event.

This API supports the product infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

protected:
 override void OnHandleCreated(EventArgs ^ e);
protected override void OnHandleCreated (EventArgs e);
override this.OnHandleCreated : EventArgs -> unit
Protected Overrides Sub OnHandleCreated (e As EventArgs)

Parameters

e
EventArgs

An EventArgs that contains the event data.

Exceptions

The ApartmentState property of the application is not set to STA.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnHandleCreated method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

Derived classes should override this method to find out when the handle has been created.

When overriding OnHandleCreated(EventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnHandleCreated(EventArgs) method at the beginning of your implementation so that registered delegates receive the event.
