Forums Tips and Tricks

• Have a question? Use Search and the Browse by Tags feature first to see if anyone else has the same issue. Your question may be already answered!
• When someone answers your question, go back and mark the answer. That way, you let that person know that their answer was right, and you help other people with the same problem.
• Tag your questions and answers with descriptive words and phrases. Then, when you’re browsing the forums, you’ll find it easier to quickly sift through topics of interest.
• Create a profile, even if you aren’t posting to the forums. Then when you log in, the forums keep track of threads you’ve read and allow you to filter them out on return visits.
• Use the Alert Me button to receive a Live Alert when new replies are posted to threads that you’re following.
• On a slow Internet connection? Feeling bogged down by the automatic refresh of the forums? Use the Pause button to stop the update and refresh when you want to.
