Converts the String to a Single equivalent.

Parameters

s: String

The string to convert.

Returns

Single

A Single equivalent of the string.

Exceptions

ArgumentNullException

s is null.

FormatException

s is not in the correct format.

OverflowException

s represents a number less than Single.MinValue or greater than Single.MaxValue.

Remarks

If s is INF or -INF, this method returns Single.PositiveInfinity or Single.NegativeInfinity respectively.
