IRTCProfile::get_ClientMinVer

The get_ClientMinVer property returns the minimum version of the Client for this profile. If the Client is lower than this version, it must attempt to upgrade by visiting the URI returned by get_ClientUpdateURI.

HRESULT get_ClientMinVer(BSTR*pbstrMinVer);

Parameters

  • pbstrMinVer
    [out] Pointer to a BSTR containing the minimum version of the Client. The caller is responsible for freeing this memory with SysFreeString.

Return Values

RTC methods may return an RTC_E_ constant.

Value Meaning
RTC_E_NOT_EXIST No version.

Remarks

This is an optional field in the profile. If the field is not present in the profile, the method will return E_FAIL.

Client: Requires Windows XP.
Server: Requires Windows Server 2003.
Redistributable: Requires Rtcdll.dll on Windows 2000, and Windows Me/98.
