How to: Uninstall a Data-Tier Server

You might want to uninstall a data-tier server for a number of reasons. In this topic you will learn how to uninstall a data-tier server installation.

Required Permissions

To perform this procedure, you must be a member of the Administrators group on the Team Foundation data-tier server. For more information about permissions, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.

To uninstall a data-tier server

  1. On the Team Foundation data-tier server, click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.

    The Add or Remove Programs window opens.

  2. Select Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server (databases) and then click Change/Remove.

    The Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server (databases) Setup wizard opens.

  3. In the wizard, select Uninstall, click Next, and follow the wizard instructions.
