Deletes a selected WebPart control in a zone.

webPart: WebPart

The WebPart control to be deleted.

Exceptions

ArgumentNullException

webPart is null.

Remarks

This method calls the WebPartManager.DeleteWebPart method, and if webPart is static, an exception is thrown because static controls (controls that are declared in the markup of a Web page) cannot be deleted. The method should only be used by derived WebPartZoneBase zones such as WebPartZone.
