How to: Add HTML Code to an Office Live Small Business Public Web Site

By using the HTML module in the Web Designer, you can place HTML code snippets on the pages of your public Web site. You can use this feature to enhance your site by creating special effects, adding video, and adding links to other sites. For example, many payment services provide HTML snippets that you can copy and paste into your Web site. The snippet contains a button that takes your customers to the payment service to pay for the items or services they are buying from you.

To add an HTML module to a public Web site, do the following:

  1. On the left navigation bar, click WebSite, and then click Page Editor.
  2. Click Module, and then click HTML.
  3. In the text box, do one of the following:
    • To add HTML code, type or paste the code that you want to add
    • To add a link, click Hyperlink
    • To browse for an image to insert, click Images
  4. Click OK.
  5. To change the module's location, drag it to any zone on the page, and then click Save.
  6. To view your changes, click View.
  7. To edit your code, right-click the module, and then click Properties.
