IRTCSessionStateChangeEvent::StatusText

This method gets status text associated with the status code. The status code is retrieved by IRTCSessionStateChangeEvent::StatusCode.

Syntax

HRESULT get_StatusText(
  BSTR* pbstrStatusText
);

Parameters

  • pbstrStatusText
    [out] Pointer to a BSTR that is filled with the status text, or an empty string if there is no entry.

    The method allocates the buffer.

    The caller is responsible for releasing this memory with SysFreeString.

Return Value

This method can return an RTC_E_ constant.

The following table shows additional information about a specific return value.

Value Description

RTC_E_NOT_EXIST

No status text is available.

Remarks

The text is extracted from a SIP response that is not localized to regional language. Therefore, the text might not be appropriate to show to the user.
