Working with Windows Script Host

Topic Last Modified: 2006-06-11

To import type library constants into your Windows Script Host applications, add a <reference> element for each type library. To import an entire type library, you only need to specify the programmatic identifier of a COM class in the type library in the object attribute for the <reference> element. The following illustrates how a <reference> element is displayed for each type library.

<Job id="MyJob1">
<reference object="ADODB.Record"/> ' ADODB Type Library
<reference object="CDO.Message"/>  ' Microsoft CDO for Exchange 2000 Library
<reference object="CDOWF.ProcessInstance"/> ' Microsoft CDO Workflow Objects for Microsoft Exchange Library
<reference object="CDOEXM.FolderTree"/> ' Microsoft CDO for Exchange Management Library

<script language="VBScript" src="X.vbs"/>
</Job>
