下表列出執行 Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition (SQL Server Express)、Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition with Advanced Services (SQL Server Express) 與 Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition Toolkit (SQL Server Express Toolkit) 所需的必要軟體，以及最低硬體和軟體需求。

附註：
若要判斷電腦是否符合系統需求，請從 [開始] 功能表，以滑鼠右鍵按一下 [我的電腦]，然後按一下 [內容]。[一般] 索引標籤顯示 CPU 類型和速度，以及已安裝的記憶體 (RAM) 數量。

SQL Server Express 的系統需求 (32 位元)

必要軟體	Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SQL Server 安裝程式需要 Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8 SP1 或更新的版本。您可以從 Microsoft 網站下載 MDAC 2.8 SP1。
網際網路需求	Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 (含) 更新版本 (.NET Framework 的必要條件)
RAM	最小容量：192 MB 建議容量：512 MB (含) 以上
硬碟空間	600 MB 可用空間
處理器	Pentium III 相容或更高等級最低速率：500 MHz 建議速率：1 GHz (含) 以上
