Value Element for ContentFormatter/Arguments/Argument (ADF)

Specifies the value of an initialization argument for a content formatter.

Syntax

<NotificationClasses>
    <NotificationClass>
        ...
        <ContentFormatter>
            <Arguments>
                <Argument>
                    ...
                    <Value>

Element Characteristics

Characteristic Description

Data type

string, between 0 and 4,000 characters in length.

Default value

None.

Occurrence

Required once per Argument element.

Updates

Can be modified, but not added or deleted, when updating the application.

Remarks

The distributor passes the argument name and value to the content formatter's Initialize() method.
