Create a job template for a rule or rule set

Follow these steps to create a job template for a rule or rule set.

You can create a job template only for a rule or rule set of the type "procedural." The job template you create only works for the rule or rule set you selected when you created it.

To create a job template for a rule or rule set

1. In the Workspace Browser, click Models. A list of models is displayed in the Models workspace.

2. In the workspace list, click the model for which you want to create a job template. The Summary workspace for the model is displayed.

3. If the model is not checked out, in the Model Tasks pane, click Check Out.

4. Click the Business Rules tab. A list of rules for this model is displayed.

5. In the list, select the rule or rule set for which you want to create a job template.

   In the Model Tasks pane, click the Create Job Template for Rule Set or Rule link.

   The job template creation occurs when you click the link. The Messages dialog box opens, and displays a list of messages, errors, or warnings that apply to the creation of the job template.
