This section of the MSDN® Library hosts developer information on three technologies Microsoft offers to help manage enterprise computing environments: Microsoft® Operations Manager (MOM), Systems Management Server (SMS), and System Center Reporting Manager (SCRM).

Microsoft Operations Manager provides event-driven operations monitoring, performance tracking, security policy enforcement, and auditing capability. Systems Management Server delivers cost-effective, scalable change and configuration management for Microsoft Windows®–based desktop and server systems. System Center Reporting Manager reports event and performance information from MOM and change and configuration management information from SMS. Using the documentation found here, you can customize and extend the capabilities of MOM, SMS, and SCRM to fit your organization's needs.
