WorksheetFunction.ChiSq_Dist(Double, Double, Boolean) Method

Definition

Returns the chi-squared distribution.

public:
 double ChiSq_Dist(double Arg1, double Arg2, bool Arg3);
public double ChiSq_Dist (double Arg1, double Arg2, bool Arg3);
Public Function ChiSq_Dist (Arg1 As Double, Arg2 As Double, Arg3 As Boolean) As Double

Parameters

Arg1
Double

X - The value at which you want to evaluate the distribution.

Arg2
Double

Deg_freedom - The number of degrees of freedom.

Arg3
Boolean

Cumulative - A logical value that determines the form of the function. If cumulative is true, CHISQ_DIST returns the cumulative distribution function; if false, it returns the probability density function.

Returns

Remarks

If any argument is nonnumeric, CHISQ_DIST returns the #VALUE! error value.

If x is negative, CHISQ_DIST returns the #NUM! error value.

If deg_freedom is not an integer, it is truncated.
