bufferModes Element for healthMonitoring (ASP.NET Settings Schema)

Defines the buffering capabilities for a provider.

This element is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

add

Optional element.

Configures a buffer mode and adds it to the HealthBufferModeSettings collection.

clear

Optional element.

Removes all buffer mode configurations from the HealthBufferModeSettings collection.

remove

Optional element.

Removes the specific buffer mode configuration from the HealthBufferModeSettings collection.

Parent Elements

Element Description

configuration

Specifies the root element in every configuration file that is used by the common language runtime and the .NET Framework applications.

system.web

Specifies the root element for the ASP.NET configuration section.

healthMonitoring

Configures an application for health monitoring.

Default Configuration

The following default bufferModes element is configured in the root Web.config file in the .NET Framework version 2.0.
