Effective October 15, 2002, this policy is designed to standardize support guidelines across Microsoft product lines and will cover most products currently available either through retail purchase or volume licensing, as well as future release products.

Microsoft Product Support Services Options

  • Knowledge Base - Search the Microsoft® Knowledge Base of technical support and self-help information.
  • Bug List - Documented bugs in Visual SourceSafe 6.0. To search for bug reports and fixes, by product and operating system visit the MSDN Bug Center.
  • Submit a Bug Report - Visual SourceSafe developers can now report a product bug to Microsoft over the Web.

  • Support Packages - Get specific support information about the Microsoft product of your choice by visiting the Microsoft Product Support Services Web site and selecting the product name from the drop-down list box.
