Code Profiler – Exporting Performance Reports

All of the performance data collected by Visual Studio Team System can be exported as XML or Excel documents. The data from the following Views can be exported:

  • Function Summary
  • Caller/Callee
  • Call Tree
  • Allocations
  • Object Allocations

Two other summary reports that are not directly visualized by Visual Studio Team System can also be exported. The Threads report (Figure 2) aggregates performance data by thread, and the Modules report (Figure 3) aggregates performance data by module.
