Build Break Notification

Getting a clean, functioning build of your project is a vitally important part of the development process. Near the end of the development cycle, your team may be creating a new build every night. A non-functional build can be a major obstacle to the whole team. So if the build breaks, it’s important that someone knows about it and can begin fixing it as soon as possible. To alert your team when a build fails, Team Foundation Server automatically creates and populates a work item with the reason for the build break (i.e. compilation problem, test failure, etc.), and assigns it to the team member that you specify.
