Source Control Explorer

The Source Control Explorer is the central place for managing all of the source files across all of your Team Projects; it is accessible from the Team Explorer as well as the top-level View menu. Each absolute root folder in the Source Control Explorer represents a Team Project. Subsequent roots represent Visual Studio solutions and projects that are being managed by Team Foundation Server.

Many Team Foundation Server version control operations are so deeply integrated within Visual Studio that they appear transparent to the user. These operations, as well as more comprehensive ones, can all be explicitly controlled from the Source Control Explorer.
