MSVidWebDVD.SelectAtPosition Method

This topic applies to Windows XP Service Pack 1 or later.

The SelectAtPosition method selects the menu button at the specified mouse pointer coordinates.

Syntax

  VidWebDVD
  .SelectAtPosition(
  xPos As Long,
  yPos As Long
)

Parameters

xPos

Specifies the x-coordinate as a Long.

yPos

Specifies the y-coordinate as a Long.

Return Values

This method does not return a value.

Error Codes

If the property fails, Err.Number may be set to one of the following values.

Value Description
E_UNEXPECTED Unspecified error.
VFW_E_DVD_NO_BUTTON No button is present at the specified position.
VFW_E_DVD_INVALIDDOMAIN The DVD Navigator filter is in the Stop domain.

Remarks

Selecting merely highlights the button. To send the command associated with a button that has been selected, call ActivateButton. To simulate clicking a button, call SelectAndActivateButton. The buttons described are the menu buttons on the Video Control, not the buttons in the surrounding form or HTML.
