Add User Dialog Box (Administrator)
Adds a new user to the list of users for the current database. The administrator can change the user name and rights at any time with the Edit User command, and the password can be changed by the administrator or the user.
Dialog Box Access
In Visual SourceSafe Administrator, on the Users menu, click Add User.
- Password
Specifies an optional password for the user. The password can contain up to 15 characters and is not case-sensitive.
- Read only
Specifies that the user has read-only Visual SourceSafe permissions for the database. When this box is not selected, the user has read/write permissions. See How to: Add User Accounts.
- User name
Specifies the user name for the user being added. The user name can contain up to 31 characters.
