Registering an Event Sink

After you have created your event sink, you need to register it with the Exchange store.

To register an event sink

  1. Determine the folder where you want to place the event sink, such as file://./backofficestorage/sampledom.microsoft.com/public folders/test.
  2. Using Regevent.vbs, register the event at a command prompt as shown below:
cscript regevent.vbs add|delete|enum eventmethod sinkclass itemname starttime(interval) interval(interval)

Example

cscript regevent.vbs add "onsyncsave;onsyncdelete" project1.class1 "file://./backofficestorage/sampledom.microsoft.com/vbsink/sink1".
