Gateway to Server Report Transfer

Gateway to Server Report Transfer

This content is no longer actively maintained. It is provided as is, for anyone who may still be using these technologies, with no warranties or claims of accuracy with regard to the most recent product version or service release.

The following steps are performed when the gateway transfers a report to a Microsoft® Exchange server:

  1. The Exchange server creates a new message transfer system (MTS) report and assigns it a report identifier (ID).
  2. The Exchange server copies the report ID to the PR_MTS_REPORT_ID property of the gateway report. This is done for auditing purposes.
  3. The Exchange server copies the PR_MTS_SUBJECT_ID of the gateway report to the subject ID of the MTS report. The server also copies the PR_PARENT_KEY of the gateway report to the PR_CONTENT_CORRELATOR property of the MTS report.
