The XLATINST Application

The XLATINST application installs a message conversion dynamic-link library (DLL) for a gateway. To run XLATINST, type the following at the command prompt:

XLATINST
  /DLL=<conversion DLL name>
  /CLASSES=<message classes>
  /OPTIONS=<options string>
  /POINT=<conversion point string>
 [/DELETE]
 [/HELP or /?]

XLATINST has the following parameters:

Parameter Description
DLL Message conversion DLL name (no path name).
CLASSES Message classes, separated by %.
OPTIONS Options string.
POINT Conversion point string.
DELETE Deletes the conversion DLL.
Help or ? Displays Help information.

The following is an example of a call to this program:

XLATINST /DLL=TNEFDEC.DLL /CLASSES=ENVELOPE.IPM /POINT=SAMPLEGW.INBOUND
