The topics in this section contain the modifications that Microsoft® Exchange Server 2003 makes to existing Exchange 2000 Server classes and attributes in Microsoft Active Directory® when you install Exchange Server 2003.
The following table lists the modified classes and attributes.

| ms-Exch-Addr-Type Class | Specifies an EMS Address type, such as SMTP, MHS, or PROFS. |
| ms-Exch-Address-List-Service Class | It is recommended that you not modify this class. Domain-wide configuration object for the Address List Service. This object contains service-level configuration information. |
| ms-Exch-Admin-Group Class | It is recommended that you not modify this class programmatically. An administrative group. |
| ms-Exch-Advanced-Security-Container Class | A container object to hold the Encryption Configuration and Key Manager objects. It is a container class only, and cannot be modified. |
