This property specifies or retrieves a value indicating whether the Windows Media Player control sends keyboard events.

Syntax

MediaPlayer.SendKeyboardEvents

Possible Values

This property is a read/write Boolean containing one of the following values.

Value Description
true Keyboard events are enabled.
false Default. Keyboard events are disabled.

Remarks

The Windows Media Player control fires keyboard events only when the value of this property is true and Windows Media Player control has focus.

Note   Enable keyboard events only if you need to use them, because they incur a slight loss in performance.

Version: Windows Media Player version 6.4.

Library: Use msdxm.ocx.

Platform: Windows 98 Second Edition or higher.
