Setting Up Your Active Directory Servers

This section applies to a six-computer configuration containing a pair of Web servers using Network Load Balancing (NLB), a pair of SQL Server cluster servers, and a pair of Microsoft Active Directory domain controllers. For more information about the configuration, see Small Site Configuration.

If you decide to implement Active Directory to store user profile or other data, you must complete several steps, which are described in the following topics.
