OEMStartEraseFlash

This function is called by the BLCOMMON framework to initiate the flash memory erasing process.

BOOL OEMStartEraseFlash(
  DWORD dwStartAddr,
  DWORD dwLength
);

Parameters

  • dwStartAddr
    [in] Address in flash memory to start erasing from. The platform boot loader code ensures this is a flash memory block-aligned address and handles it differently if it is not. For more information, see Implementing the Flash Memory Erase Functions.
  • dwLength
    [in] Number of bytes of flash memory to be erased.

Return Values

TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates failure.
