HWSetCommTimeouts (Windows CE 5.0)

This function sets the communications time-out events in response to a call to the SetCommTimeouts function.

BOOL HWSetCommTimeouts(PVOIDpContext,LPCOMMTIMEOUTSlpCommTO);

Parameters

  • pContext
    [in] Pointer to a context structure returned by the HWInit function that contains implementation-specific data describing the device.
  • lpCommTO
    [in] Pointer to a CommTimeouts structure.

Return Values

TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates failure.

Remarks

This function supports the implementation of the lower layers of serial port drivers. Typically, the upper layer keeps track of communications time-out events. The lower layer usually does not need to act on time-out events.
