HWDeinit (Windows CE 5.0)

This function de-initializes the hardware when a device driver is unloaded. It is called by the upper layer.

BOOL HWDeinit(PVOIDpContext);

Parameters

  • pContext
    [in] Pointer to a context structure returned by the HWInit function that contains implementation-specific data describing the device.

Return Values

TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates failure.

Remarks

This function is called when the device is no longer needed. It is typically called for PC Card devices when the card is removed, not for built-in devices.

This function supports the implementation of the lower layers of serial port drivers.

Requirements

OS Versions: Windows CE 1.0 and later.
