CardGetStatus (Windows CE 5.0)

This function retrieves the current status of the specified socket and function pair.

STATUS CardGetStatus(PCARD_STATUSpStatus);

Parameters

  • pStatus
    [out] Pointer to a CARD_STATUS structure used to return the status information.

Return Values

CERR_SUCCESS indicates success. If the CARD_STATUS structure referenced by the pStatus parameter contains information in its hSocket member that is not valid, this function returns CERR_BAD_SOCKET. If the pStatus parameter itself is not valid, this function returns CERR_BAD_ARGS.

Remarks

The status is any of the event masks defined in the Cardsv2.h header file, such as write protect, card lock, and battery dead. You can determine the status from the bit mask values this function retrieves in CARD_STATUS.
