You can respond to events that occur in the Exchange store programmatically. With events, you can write your own custom logic that executes on the server in response to changes in the data in the Exchange store.
The following topics describe event types, how to write event sink Component Object Model (COM) classes, how to respond to event notifications when the event sink class receives them, and how to register, modify, and monitor events.
