Creating Sample Gateway File System Directories

You must build a Sample Gateway file system directory and subdirectories on the target computer. The top-level directory provides a storage location for the Sample Gateway service executable file (gwsample.exe). The subdirectories store incoming and outgoing messages. You can build the top-level directory anywhere on the target computer, but it must contain an IN and an OUT folder. For example, you might create the following folders on the C:\drive, in this order:

  1. C:\SGW
  2. C:\SGW\IN
  3. C:\SGW\OUT

After you create the folders, copy the Sample Gateway service executable file (gwsample.exe) to the C:\SGW folder.

Note   You might want to place .ocx files in the same C:\SGW directory. Although this is not necessary, it provides a consistent location for Sample Gateway files.
