This function generates cache group identifications.

GROUPID CreateUrlCacheGroup ( 
DWORD dwFlags,
LPVOID lpReserved);

Parameters

  • dwFlags
    [in] Unsigned long integer value that contains the flags to control the creation of the cache group. This can be set to CACHEGROUP_FLAG_GIDONLY, which generates a unique GROUPID, but does not create a physical group.
  • lpReserved
    [in] Reserved. Must be set to NULL.

Return Values

Returns a valid GROUPID if successful, or FALSE otherwise.

Requirements

Runs on Versions Defined in Include Link to
Windows CE OS 2.12 and later Wininet.h   Wininet.lib

Note   This API is part of the complete Windows CE OS package as provided by Microsoft. The functionality of a particular platform is determined by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and some devices may not support this API.
