Server Appliance Kit

Before installing the Server Appliance Kit framework components, you must configure Windows Server 2003 to work optimally with the features provided by the Server Appliance Kit.

Password Security

At a minimum, the Administrator account must be assigned a password with a length greater than one character to enable remote administration using Remote Desktop and the Web UI. To provide adequate user account security, it is strongly recommended that you set the minimum password length policy for all accounts to at least six characters.
