Remarks

When a proxy class is generated when adding a Web Reference in Visual Studio .NET or using the Web Services Description Language tool (Wsdl.exe) tool, the Url property can be set. That value is set to the Url is determined by the location attribute found in the Web Services Description Language document from which the proxy class was generated.

Whenever the Url property is set, there is a referral cache look-up to see if the specified URL contains a referral in the referral cache. Whether or not the URL changes based on the referral cache look-up, a new instance of EndpointReference is then created using the value of the Url property. That new EndpointReference object is then assigned to the Destination property.
