System Gestures

Overview of system gestures used for the Tablet PC.

System gestures map to traditional mouse messages. Microsoft® Windows® XP Tablet PC Edition supports pen input gestures of left-click, double-click, right-click, left-drag, right-drag, and hover mouse messages. These gestures allow a Tablet PC user to more easily use the Tablet PC. Applications developed for a Tablet PC must support these gestures in the same way that they support mouse actions. For traditional applications, these events are interpreted as traditional mouse messages.
