Event.UserName Property (Event)

Gets the name of the Windows NT or Windows 2000 account that generated the event.

Remarks

The UserName property is read-only when used with an event provided to the script by MOM. The property is read/write when used with a new event created with the ScriptContext.CreateEvent method.

Examples

The following example sets the UserName property of the new event to the same value as the original event sent in the parameter.
