The Windows SideShow API provides a set of interfaces that enable gadgets to display content and notifications on Windows SideShow-compatible devices. Some of these interfaces are implemented by the Windows SideShow platform and called by Windows SideShow gadgets. Other interfaces that are defined by the API must be implemented by the gadgets so that the Windows SideShow platform can call them.

This section contains information about the platform-implemented interfaces and the gadget-implemented interfaces of the Windows SideShow API. It also contains information about supporting enumerations and constant values.
