User Interface Design Guidelines
The main purpose of any wizard should be to enable a user to perform a specific task with as little difficulty as possible. The user interface design for each wizard page should support that purpose by presenting one step per page, with the instructions for carrying out that step as clear and concise as possible. For more comments on effective wizard design, see section 7 "Usability Recommendations" in this specification.
The following examples represent a variety of page designs frequently encountered in wizards.
