IAVIStream::Create

The Create method initializes a stream handler that is not associated with any file. Called when an application uses the AVIStreamCreate function.

HRESULT Create(
  PAVISTREAM ps, 
  LONG lParam1,  
  LONG lParam2   
);

Parameters

ps

Pointer to the interface to a stream.

lParam1

Stream handler-specific data.

lParam2

Stream handler-specific data.

Return Values

Returns the HRESULT defined by OLE.

Remarks

For handlers written in C++, Create has the following syntax:

HRESULT Create(LONG lParam1, LONG lParam2)

Requirements

**  Windows NT/2000/XP:** Included in Windows NT 3.1 and later.
**  Windows 95/98/Me:** Included in Windows 95 and later.
**  Header:** Declared in Vfw.h.
**  Library:** Use Vfw32.lib.
