About NetMeeting Scripting API

The NetMeeting Scripting API includes the following APIs for Web-based application developers who write in any combination of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Microsoft® JScript®, and Microsoft Visual Basic® Scripting Edition (VBScript).

The NetMeeting Scripting API provides access to a simplified programmatic view of the current NetMeeting conference. However, you can wrap the NetMeeting 3 COM API with your own scripting interface to add more detailed control to the NetMeeting functionality. You can also use the NetMeeting COM API for direct programmatic access to NetMeeting features, as discussed in the COM reference section.
