DMessengerEvents::OnGroupNameChanged Event

Deprecated.  Indicates that the name of a group has been changed.

Syntax

void OnGroupNameChanged(      
    LONG hr,
    IDispatch *pMGroup
);

Parameters

  • hr
    [in] Success or error code as a LONG. Possible values are as follows:
    • S_OK
      A group name was successfully changed.
    • MSGR_E_GROUP_NAME_TOO_LONG
      The name of the group to be changed is too long.
    • MSGR_E_BAD_GROUP_NAME
      The name of the group to be changed is invalid.
  • pMGroup
    [in] Pointer to a IDispatch World Wide Web link interface on the MessengerGroup object that corresponds to the group from wich the contact was removed. Using this pointer, clients can now code to its IMessengerGroup interface.

Return Value

No return value.

Event DISPID

DISPID_MUAE_RENAMEGROUP

The DISPID for this event is defined in msgrua.h. Use this value to identify the event handler when implementing IDispatch::Invoke.

Remarks

To be used when writing custom ::Invoke methods to handle these events.
